The BattleTech Salvage Box: Visigoth was created as a part of the 2023 Mercenaries Crowdfunding Campaign. Unlike the proceeding BattleTech Salvage Box: Shilone which was intended a secret “thank you” gift that was only revealed when the Clan Invasion Wave 2 was shipping, in the run up to the Mercenaries campaign Catalyst Game Labs was upfront about producing a Clan OmniFighter equivalent using a notable pilot from the Blood of Kerensky trilogy. The BattleTech Salvage Box: Visigoth was made available through the Kickstarter campaign via two routes, one free box will be provided to all “early bird” backers who pledged during the first 48 hours of the campaign as well as being made available as an add-on option for all backers.
